=Things aren't the way they were before, you would even recognize me anymore= =Not that you knew me back then, but it all comes back to me in the end=
I leaned over, looking at the small dot she had pointed to, and the figures above them. Nodding like I actually knew what they meant, I made a few random sounds which indicated I agreed, then proceeded to try and figure out which direction the place was.
Well, uh, you're the one with the map. Lead the way. I'm only good at finding things in towns, not finding the towns itself. I'm sure that, um, uh, that city you've picked has information about who I'm looking for.
Oh, good cover, don't you think? I thought I was a good liar. It she'd been able to see my mouth twitching nervously, I doubt I would have made it through that lie.

"...You are a horrible liar, 'Kashi," Leazra said with a smug smirk. "You can't read a map, can you. And the town that I pointed out isn't a town-- it's a mountain."
She giggled. This Kakashi was a likeable guy after all. Not the brightest of the bunch, but fun to be with, at the very least.

I turned around in my saddle, swearing under my breath. real smooth, idiot.
Fine then, no, I can't read a map. I can't read anything, happy? Now would you please just find a town so I can killing the stupid mage and move on with my life?
I growled angrily, hunching my shoulders as I looked ahead angrily. That was probably very rude for me to do, but I couldn't help it. My cheerful, happy mod had suddenly disappeared as I realized I was actually going through with this, and dragging someone down with me.
With a sigh I turned back around, wishing she could see the smile on my face.
Hey, sorry I got snappy, I'm just a bit tense.

Leazra was a little provoked by Kakashi's sudden snap at her, and she glared at him with the utmost intensity. But after his tone of voice calmed down, so did she. She grinned cheerfully at him.
"It's okay," she assured him. "It's nature that we should sometimes get frustrated-- even angry-- at one another, hm?"
She looked at the map again. "...How about this town? And yes, it's a town. It's unlikely that we'll find who you're looking for just by picking some random town on the map, but who knows?"
She led Kakashi out of the town and across the fields.

ooc: ((should we start a new thread somewhere else?))
I followed faithful for a while, enjoying the view of the delicate countryside. Harphila was one of the few remaining villages untouched by the king's dark hand, and it's residents had remained simple in nature and kind at heart. I knew one day the soldiers would come in full force, demanding crops, younger soldiers, and even younger women, but I hoped it was a day far from now. It was my refuge, the closest thing to home I had, and I didn't want to see it fall.
After a time my legendary inpatients caught up with me, and must say that it seems utterly impossible for me to be impatient. Me, the one who sits around for days and finishes things a week after the deadline, who never move fasts, and, well, you get he picture. I didn't understand it myself, but I did know then when there was something I was after, I didn't like to wait to get it. But this has turned into an extremely long, unneeded explanations which adds nothing to this narrative, so I'll shut-up about myself now.
So, what exactly is this place called?
I asked, drumming my fingers on Black Moon's back, which I quickly stopped when he threatened to buck me off. Moody little pony.

(I guess so, since they're no longer within the vicinity of the town)
Leazra looked at the map again. And she simply said, "...Half Shadow Glen."
