Leazra didn't know what to do with herself.
She was pretty much fresh out of her home in Castenate(sp?), the thrilling ideas of adventure flowing wildly within her soul.
But this isn't quite what she had in mind. First, she was almost forced to make a deal with a rogue princeling who couldn't find a mate for beans. Now, she ended up in this small, run-of-the-mill town that was apparently named Harphila.
Harphila for what, anyway?

=Things aren't the way they were before, you would even recognize me anymore= =Not that you knew me back then, but it all comes back to me in the end=
I walked casually down the street, eying the various goods displayed with curiosity. Apparently too much curiosity, for one shopkeeper came up beside me and angrily crossed his arms as I looked at some fresh apples. If I could have I would have stuck my tongue out at him, but such action was impossible, so with a roll of my eyes I returned to my browsing from a far. Some one had to learn to not judge from appearances, though, personally, I would be a bit suspicious if a random masked man came up to my shop and started eyeballing the goods.
I eventually lost interest in the items, since most of them pertained to food. It was after all a farming town, but they could have used a bit of variety. I found that I could occupy my time by watching people instead, and eventually I spied someone interesting. Why they were interesting, I didn't know, but they just were, so let's leave it at that.
Hey there.
I called out, waving a hand at the girl.

"Huh?"
Leazra's heavy rings of hair naturally tossed themselves over her shoulders as she turned to face the one who was waving. Waving at her? Apparently. She stretched herself this way and that, bored anyway, so she walked over to the man.
He was a Loridian elf like her. She raised her hand. "Hola! Quien es usted, senor?"

Hola, me nombre es Kakashi. Como te llamas?
I replied, feeling a bit rusty. I hadn't spoken in that language for a while, not since I was a child. I guess all those lessons my father and Nana made me take payed off, otherwise I would have been left standing here gawking at her like an idiot. Or, staring, actually. I can't gawk.

Leazra giggled. "Something tells me you haven't spoken Darium in a while, if at all. Bueno, me llama Leazra. Mucho gusto, senor!" She extended her hand. "Que esta haciendo aqui?"

¿Ese obviouse? Entonces excúseme por favor si digo algo estúpido. ¿Estoy aquí por las razones personales, cuáles sobre se?
I asked with a sly grin hidden safely under my mask. I imagine I had that devilish look in my eye, but it couldn't be helped. I wanted to see how well she spoke the language, and I also want to show off a bit. =I tried so hard, and got so far= =But in the end it doesn't even matter=

"Esta bien," Leazra said simply, leaving her answer at that. "I think since you seem to be struggling a little with Darium, I'll be using our common tongue to talk to you for now. Who knows? I don't know if we'll see each other long enough to have another conversation in Darium."
She giggled again, a carefree notion from a free spirit, which could clearly be seen from the way she dressed so simply and primitively to the burnt-hazel eyes that shined while she looked at Kakashi.
"Mind if I follow you, then?"

Uh, sure, you can come, but I warn you it might, no, will get pretty... violent. You might end up getting involved in something that will put you on the king's bad side.
I warned her, raising an eyebrow curiously. She wasn't the usually person you ran into, and I'd never expected her to tag along, but I guessed a companion could come in handy. One never knew.

"Well... Will it be adventurous?" she asked eagerly, an elf girl's naivity springing obviously in her tone of voice.
This girl Leazra must not have gotten out much, recently. She seemed to know little about how complicated the diplomacy of the world could become. Her only intention, as it should seem, was to find a wave of excitement to satisfy her.
And by the looks of the slender sword and sickles she had holstered at her waist, the need involved the spilling of blood later on.

Oh, it will be plenty adventurous. And I'm positive that by the end, you're sword will have tasted the blood of another.
I added numbly. That what happened when things which were sorrowful came upon me. I just turned numb, trying to ignore the tears, the pain, and the heartbreak that came with the emotion. The memories were enough for me, I didn't have to waste time mourning the past. I did it all the time anyway, though. Sometimes I spent entire days sitting under a tree in the sun, just thinking about my memories, and how much I wish I wasn't thinking about them.

"Esta bien," Leazra said. "So... You're accepting my offer to travel with you, right? Wanna go eat somewhere?"
She gestured down the road. It was STILL just about empty, and there were limited stores that held food supplies. Many of those few stores were closed at this hour. Nevertheless, there seemed to be a bakery down the street with its lights on in welcome.

Well, that had been a quick change of subject, but with a nod I motioned down the street, indicating she could lead the way. I just wanted to relax a bit before we started off, and with a stretch of my arms I began to walk down the deserted streets, glancing over my shoulder one last time to glare at the angry shopkeeper.

Leazra pranced down the street like a happy little elf, content with what she had just settled with the stranger and now acquaintance, possibly a new companion on her journey to find something worth living for in the outside world-- beyond the borders of a forested and sheltered home.
Upon arriving inside the bakery, her eyes immediately began to cycle through the various treats it had to offer-- from breads to cakes and small little cookies.

I observed my new companion with a grin of amusement. She was without a doubt a cheerful person, which I realized I could probably used. I also sensed a hint of insanity, but I'd keep that to myself. I figure we're all kind of insane at heart.
As we walked into the bakery I leaned over one of the displays, wishing I could lick my lips. They various array of food was tempting, and with a slight cringe I realized I hadn't eaten since last morning. I reached out for one of the rolls, but quickly retracted it as I noticed the price. Far more money then I had with me.
With a nervous laugh I turned to Leazra, pushing my hands into my pockets to finger the few coins which lay there.
Say, um, how much money do you have on you?
I asked quietly, not wanting to draw attention to myself. I was probably the one who should be buying the food for her, not the other way around. Part of me just wanted to tell her to forget I had said anything, but I knew I couldn't live long only eating a scarce meal every few days. If I wasn't so psychotic about removing my mask, it wouldn't have been that much of a problem. But, of course, I was psychotic.

"Oh, I don't have enough either..." Leazra said, sounding a little bummed out about having little money. "I guess we're going to have to go to another shop."
With her hands in her pockets, she sauntered out of the bakery. Kakashi could notice, however, that her pockets were bulky with more than just her hands.
