Suri landed with a loud thump that shook the area. "HELLO?" She called. "Anyone there? I need help! Someone is dying and part of the Emerald Forest is on fire!" When no one answered, she roared and thumped her tail on the ground agrily. "HELLO?" Suri roared. "I NEED SOME HELP! MY FRIEND IS DYING AND THE EMERALD FOREST IS ON FIRE!" She roared angrily again and started to wack a nearby tree with her tail.

The ruckus stirred Guy Fawkes from being almost death long enough to open his eyes, breath for a quick moment, fall of off Suri, and then stop breathing again as his heart beat almost stopped all together.

Suri stopped when she felt Guy's wieght slide off her body. She decided to lie down and give some shade to her friend. So she lied down and opened one wing to give shelter to Guy. "Is there anyone here at all?" Suri moaned. When no answer came she hung her head in defeat.
But someone did hear her, a young soldier. He had heard Suri's pleas, but was too scared to face her without someone else. So he fled into the castle to find one of the Queen's mages.
((Could you be the mage? I'm not that good when it comes to that...))

Guy was traveling down a dark tunnel. He could hear Waefae's evil laughter. "NO!!" his mind shouted as the eternal burning fire drew closer to him. He did not want to die only to be bound to Waefae forever. How could he have been so stupid, and trusting of that vial man. The mage approached the dragon cautiously. "Where is the lad?" he asked, then tripped on Guy's cold, limp hand. "Ah..." He felt for a pulse. "He's almost gone. I don't know what to do. Did he give you any instructions for if something should happen? I see wounds, but nothing fatal. What caused this?"

"Well uh he said something about have a symbiot and that uh," Suri replied. "That he needed a wizard to form a new symbiotic relationship before he dies, or right as he dies. Then he told me if that doesn't happen then a man named Waefae would have complete control of him some how." Suri kneaded the ground with her claws nervously and felt like she was going to die if Guy, who she just met, died before her eyes. "Well, wha- what can you do?" she asked. "Can you help him?"

"Interesting," the Mage mumbled as he knelt down beside Guy. He then looked up at Suri. "Since you're the only dragon here, are you willing to become his symbiont? It will bind you too his mind. You will feel all his pain, know his thoughts and emotions, his history, and the same goes for him. If one of you dies both of you dies. As far as I know there is no way to break the circle once it has been started. Waefae you said. He's a powerful wizard who leads the Blood Revenge. His hold on Guy will be hard to break, and that is beyond my powers." The mage began to chant over Guy to try to heal the wounds from the former symbiont's tortures, and the battle, and also to try and keep him a live a little longer. Guy could feel the flames begin to engulf his body. The never ending fire that always burned but never destroyed you. He cried out, begging to be released from it. Waefae laughed even harder. A voice chanting began to break through into his mind, and Waefae's sinister laughter began to slow down. Perhaps he would be saved after all, but he could not fight, and soon his heart stopped beating, and he was about to be engulfed in the flames. It's been said that a heart can start beating again within ten minutes of it stopping, but that is rare, and not after ten minutes could it restart, a miracle was his only hope now, and he felt himself falling into the fire, and under Waefae's control.

"Uh, Well. Uh," Suri stampered trying to decide quickly. "I'll do it!" She suddenly felt that she was going to regret and be grateful for this choice at the same time. Guy's body just then stopped moving before her eyes. "Quickly!" She urged the mage, and turning to the soldier she said, "You go gather some of your comrades. There is a fire in the Emerald forest and some strange men as well please do something about it."
The soldier was surprised and scared when the dragon asked him, personally to go solve a BIG problem in the forest. Even though the task was frightfully overwelming, the man nodded and scurried away to find some more of his fellow soldiers.

The mage began to chant over the two, his hands on both, forming a circle. The chant lasted for less than a minute, but it felt like forever. The chant completed, and the symbiotic relationship formed, the mage called for healers and a stretcher to take Guy to a room to heal. Guy had been medically speaking dead, but his mind was still aware of what was going on. He heard chanting and he felt the faint beat of his heart return, and it grew stronger, and he gasped as air and life filled his lungs and body again. Waefae's laughing stopped and became a wail, sounding like the keen of a banshee, or some other hellish creature. Soon, that wail grew silent, and Waefae was completely gone. Guy didn't understand. His eyes slowly cracked open, and he found himself looking into Suri's eyes. Her wing spread protectively over him. He weakly reached out and patted her shoulder. "Thank you..." he whispered, then closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

Suri's entire face lit up when she saw Guy open his eyes and smile at her. "No problem," she whispered into the dragon-human's ear. Continueing to guard Guy with her wings, she lifted her head to say to the mages and healers around her, "He's alive! And he spoke!" The blue dragon glanced at her symbiont for a moment before looking back at the mage. "Has the soldiers figured out who those men in the forest were?" she asked worriedly.

The healers put Guy on a stretcher and carried him into the castle. The mage looked at Suri and said, "I don't know." He walked away and went to find one of the Queen's advisers. Guy soon became aware of a presence in his mind. His new symbiont. He could tell that she was glad he was alive, concerned for his health, and worried about the forest. He also could quite clearly see her history unraveling before him. Yes, she was a young dragon, and that explained why her thoughts often rambled and why everything was always urgent. While his subconscious was worried about downloading information into him and finishing the connection, Guy was sleeping. He woke up. A stranger was sitting next to him, and he reflexively searched for a weapon. "It's alright," the stranger said. "I'm one of the healers who's been helping you recover." "Where am I?" "You're in the Queen's Palace. You were asleep for about a week. That young dragon has been quite worried about you." "Was the fire put out?" Guy asked. "Yes, and the men are now being held in the prisons. Once you have fully recovered, we have some questions to ask you. However, I think your dragon friend would like some assurance that you are still alive." Guy nodded his head and stood up. He quickly changed into a clean set of clothing and went to find Suri.

Suri was pacing outside the infirmary waiting for the latest update on Guy. She had sat down for a moment, back to the door, to think of the possibilities of Guy being okay. Even though she already knew that he was alive and well, she was still nervous. The blue dragon impatiently started to pace again. How long until they come out? Suri screamed in thought. From behind her she heard the door open just barely. She slowly turned her massive body to face whoever it was. When she saw who it was, her face lit up and she almost jumped for joy. "You're okay!" she screamed.

Guy hadn't been expecting her to be standing right in front of his door. Her concern filled his mind, and he had no time to brace himself for her shriek of joy. He was shoved back against the door by the force of it. "Easy Suri. I know you're excited, but what are you trying to do, scare me to death!?" he asked jokingly, a roguish smile on his face. He picked himself back up and hugged the dragon's neck. "And as for will I be fine? Of course I'm going to be fine...." He shook his head and laughed. He looked around the infirmary wing, "So, they actually let you in here...."

"Sorry," Suri apoligized to Guy about the shriek. Some butterflies started to fly around in her stomach when Guy hugged her, and she smiled. The hug felt really good. "Well," she confessed. "They didn't exactly let me in..." Absently, Suri drew a circle in the ground with her claw like she does when she is embarassed.

He smirked. "Well, if they didn't let you into the infirmary, which is no easy feet for a dragon who can't shape shift, how on all of Arda did you get in here?" Guy asked. He stepped back and looked up at her. Her thoughts kept rushing into his mind. He'd eventually relearn how to tune out most of them so that his subconscious dealt with them without him really knowing it. The important ones broke through all mental barriers because they tended to deal with danger or pain.

"Uh, um," Suri replied. "I, uh, I... Let's not discuss this now can we?" She nervously swayed back and forth, from one foot to another. "How are you feeling?" Suri asked out of the blue. "Are you hungry at all? I mean you have been up there asleep for days!"
