Suri landed in a grassy clearing surrounded by bushes. This was her favorite spot to hang out. It was one of the only clearings in the Emerald Forest that she was able to spread her wings completely and lie down. She yearned to lie down and relax today, but she was too curious and wanted to explore the area. So now she set off down a familiar trail that she had made herself. The sky blue dragon walked along the undergrowth border trail until she was able to enter the wooded part of the forest. "This is amazing," she murmured to herself as she peered at a spider web covered in dew. As Suri walked on, she began to notice smaller human trails through the wood and figured that the humans enjoyed the calmness of the forest as much as she did. She kept walking until a strange scent came upon her nose that she could not identify. It contained the kind of aroma that most of the Queen's subjects had, yet Suri could not decipher the other scents that mingled with it. What was it?

Guy was finally free to stretch his wings and fly. He was in a Tundra dragon form today, and his silver blue fur kept him warm at the higher altitudes. He began to descend to the forest floor when he spotted another Dragon in the forest. He landed in a clearing and began to walk towards the dragon. He shook his head as he got closer. "Hello," he said. He began to wonder if he should shift into his humanoid form or not.

Suri grunted in surprise when she heard the hello. "Who's there?" she called cautiously. Deep in her belly she began to growl as she recognized the dragon scent. It had been a long time since she had talked with a dragon. She heard the dragon walking in her direction so, despite her instincts to drive him off her territory, she decided to meet him.

"Guy Fawkes," he said as he dipped his head in a bow. The other dragon was nervous. "I seem to have interrupted your walk, but it's been a very long time since I've seen another dragon. May I enquirer as to know your name?"

Guy Fawkes, Suri thought. Nice name. "My name is Suri," She answered. "And it has been a long time since I too have seen or talked to another dragon." She paused for a moment and examined the silver blue dragon in front of her. "Now it is my turn to ask a question," Suri said. "Why did you bow your head to me? Are we not both dragons? I thought humans were the only ones that would bow to me. And are you part of the Queen's Army?"

"I tend to masquerade as a human or elf. It's easier to find a job working for merchants that way. I have no allegiances. I used to work for the Sanguine Revenge, but that was before Waefae took over," Guy said. "I work for no one."

"Fair enough," Suri replied simply. "And I can understand why you would hold no alliances in these dark times." She glanced quickly through the trees, the blue dragon swore she saw something out of the corner of her eye. "So," Suri continued. "Since you just appeared, want to walk together? Or do you want to see the rest of my territory?"

"How about we talk and see the rest of your territory," Guy replied. "So, how did you wind up here?"

Suri nodded to the suggestion. "Well, it's sorta a long story," Suri explained. "I'll summarize... So I was born north of here. I mean really up north, near the big ice islands. Anyways I had a little brother, but he died in his second winter from dragon pox." Tears had started to roll down her scaly cheeks. "Well as soon as I was able to fly my mother wanted to leave our home, though I never did know why and we traveled for months maybe a year, but we couldn't find a place to settle. So one day, we some how flew into a storm, and ... and, I lost my mom in it." Suri had choked out the last words and started to cry. She tried to stop, but it only stopped when fire came suddenly out of her mouth. "Sorry about that," she muttered. "The rest of it goes that it took me three or four years to find my cave and this forest. When I did I joined the Queen's cause, and have been here ever since." Suri scratched her foot in embarressment. I'm glad that's over, she thought.

Guy soon realized he was crying. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring back bad memories. You're not the only dragon out there with a depressing back story. At least your's were from natural causes and not murder.... I lost my whole family in a battle when Waefae caught us unaware. He killed everyone. I was the only one who escaped. My sister Leana, who was my best friend, died in my arms."

Suri gave Guy a thankful look, but then murmured, "I'm the one who should be sorry, I made you cry. And if I ever meet that Waefae person, I'll be sure to give him a piece of my mind." She was surprised to find herself growling at the last sentence. Quickly, she straightened up and relaxed for a moment, her muscles had tensed during her and Guy's stories. "Well," Suri started. "What do you want to see or do now?"

"Well, how large is this territory?" Guy asked.

Suri pondered over the question for a little bit. "It's pretty big," she answered. "That's just because the humans and others tend to scare my prey away, so it's a little bit over half the forest. But I also have territory on the crags to the north of here." She wondered why Guy wanted to know how big her territory was, but she shrugged mentally. I know I can trust him, Suri thought. Or can I?

"I was wondering, that way if you're in a bad mood, I can stay clear of the territory so that I don't die..." he said.

Suri smiled her best dragon smile and said, "Don't you worry I'm only in a bad mood when there is no prey what so ever. And I won't kill you, I hate dragon meat." She looked Guy straight in the eye and tried to hold her gaze, but she had to look away. The sky blue dragon then started to draw circles in the sand with her claw subconciously. "Well, do you want to see my den now?" Suri asked.
