Soji smiled, and lept back, throwing one broad sword like a knife at him with incredibla speed. She drew another sword and lept forwards, spinning under his guard and slashing at his stomach.

How many swords do you have?!
I cried in exasperation, leaning forward to duck the sword and to try and move my stomach out of her reach. The sword passed dangerously close overhead, but unfortunately my lean was not enough to save my stomach from the cut.

Soji smiled a grim smile as the sword tapped against Daemon's side, she had sparred his life from a fatal blow. "You're lucky that my good side has a crush on you... I would have killed you if she hadn't stopped me.. And to answer your question, four." She said, pulling the sword back and sheath both her blades. She jumped over his head and landed next to her thrown sword, she picked it up and sheathed it as well. "We should get out of here, they will be coming soon..." She said, walking towards the outer wall.

... crush?
Oh, gods help me.
I watched her flip over my head, keeping silent for fear of blurting out something incredibly stupid... or offensive.
Now, wait just a second, who said I was going to go with you? OR even let you go, for that matter? Just because you're.. good side.. you know, ehm...
I cringed, realizing my speech was falling apart before my eyes.
I mean, come on, I only just joined this club, and I make it a general rule not to betray anyone unless I've known them for over a month, ok?

Soji shrugged. "Sorry, kid. Guess your boyfriend doesn't wanna come along!" She said, reverting back to the normal Soji who was on the verge of tears. She tried to transform back and let her darkside take control, but she was blocking it. 'Nope, gotta take care of this on your own!' She said, a mental image popping up in Soji's head of her sitting in a chair and laughing at her. "Then your beer..." She muttered. "Is gone..." She finished, pulling out a bottle and crashing it against the ground. It was a little known fact that Soji's dark side was an alchoholic... 'Nooo!!!' She screamed, a mental image of a sobbing dark side popped up in Soji's head. "Serves her right!" She said, turning back to Daemon, she started crieing as soon as she saw him. She was, after all, just a little kid right now...

I cringed, my minds spinning, twisting, and turning in a thousand different directions and threatening to tear itself apart. I hadn't planned to deal with stuff like this, I wasn't a babysitter, I wasn't a role model, and by the gods, I just wanted a normal life like the rest of these half-witted soldiers!
Not that I ever believed that was going to happen.
How, eh, wait ... come on, hold up a second...
I blabbered out of desperation, hearing footsteps sound closer and closer to the door.
Look, just.... get out of here, ok? I don't think either of us want to get in trouble over this, and.. and...
I wasn't going to admit it, no, I wasn't it...

It was cold, and I couldn't sleep in the cold; my mind would refuse to relax, merely focus on my shivering limbs. And no matter how many blankets I rested under, I couldn't get comfortable. I was physically tired, not yet mentally, so I decided to walk until my mind finally obeyed and fell asleep with the rest of me.
Which was why I had grabbed a thick robe to slip over my nightdress and sheild me from the chill, opened my door, and slipped outside. I would occasionally pass by a few soldiers stationed across the castle for security purposes, but I walked by generally unnoticed, as I was now considered a regular resident of the Royal City.
And yet, oddly, it still didn't feel like home. It didn't feel like some where I could see myself spending the rest of my life in, walking aimlessly down cold corridors with the sad moonlight and the soft whisper of a gentle breeze as my only companions.
But at that moment, it struck me that I wasn't alone. I heard someone speaking, in a tone that was slightly urgent. Looking around me, I saw no guards, no soldiers; I was the only one to hear the voice that sounded slightly familiar to me. "Look, just.... get out of here, ok? I don't think either of us want to get in trouble over this, and.. and..."
I frowned to myself silently. And then something connected in my mind; voice to face, face to voice. "No way," I whispered to myself. I darted forward, stumbling a bit before turning a corner. What I saw, though, made me stop in my tracks, frozen.
The wall had been totally obliterated, leading outside so that everything was bathed in the blue light of the moon. And there he was.
When Daemon and I had gone our seperate ways, I had been determined to never see him again. I thought of him as something of a friend for roughly twenty-four hours, but then i turned away, leaving for Royal City once more. I had been perfectly fine with the situation, personally; although Daemon had a position in the Queen's Army as well, the size of Royal City made it easy for me to forget about him.
Until now. "What're you doing here?" I whispered, stepping forward. My eye caught on a girl beside him, who appeared slightly upset; her green eyes were glistening, and emotional pain was etched into her face. She couldn't have been over thirteen, and it seemed like an odd sort of company. "And what'd you do?" My hand waved to the wall, which was still in shambles.
