Kalia was standing on one of the Garden Towers, from there she could see the whole city. She felt like she was on top of the world looking down at life below. The wind was playing in her silver and gold hair, and the sun made it glow. Her punjabi and jewerly sparkled in the morning sun as well, making her appear as a shining star that stood on the tower. Her sky blue eyes saw and noticed everything around and bellow, not one detail escaped her watchfull eye. Kalia was standing up here since dawn, when she woke up and was unable to go back to sleep...It was just something about the dream she had last night that kept the girl up. Kalia took a deep breath of chilly morning air, that had not have time to heat up or become fully submerjed in the city life. This was a new day.

It was a new day, with new and unexpected surprises ready to happen. And to start, Kalia suddenly heard a loud knock on the door. "Hey, is anyone in here?" came the desperate whisper of a voice.

Kalia blinked as she churned around looking at the door. She didn't expect to hear much less see anyone out this early. Never the less, Kalia walked over to the door and slowly opened it ready to draw her knife at a moment's notice.

On the other side of the door was a young man dressed in dark clothes of poor, worn quality. His dark green eyes showed his desperation. Fear was obvious in his eyes, but it was controlled by the hardened expression that plastered on his face.
"Please, let me hide...!"

"Ok..."Kalia nodded as she steped aside for the man to come in. She hoped he knew, that comming to the top of a tower was never good hiding place, since the only way out was by flying up, down, or both.

((Wow, that's weird. You posted at the exact same time between your last two posts )) The young man slipped inside and pressed his back against a wall. At this time, Kalia started to hear quick but silent footfalls coming up the stairs as well.

(Huh? *Stares* Holly Lobsters! You're right...Wow...That's creepy..)
Kalia closed the door and looked over at the man, though with out saying anything she indicated to the Wall that was on the same side as the door. He should go there, It'll be much easiar to hide him that way.

The young man nodded and proceeded to that wall, trusting her instruction. Something that he normally wouldn't have done, let alone what he should be doing at all. He stayed there, trying to slow his heartrate down.
There came a knock on the door.

Kalia walked over to the door and opened it half way. "Can I help you?" Her voice conded anoyed, as if she was just inturupted in the middle of something.

A not-much-older man stood at her door, rather tall and lean, but with eyes as sharp as a hawk's. He wore dark clothing as well, and at his belt he wielded a slender sword.
"...I'm looking for someone."

Kalia looked at him up and down, then back to his face. "Unless that person is me, your out of luck." She said calmly in still anoyed voice. Nothing of her fitures gave away that she was lying.

"I pursued him up here, and as far as I'm concerned there is no other room this high in this tower," he said dangerously, his piercing eyes trying to read her mind. "Please, allow me in for but a moment to check to see if he has snuck in."

"There is no one but me. My dear, do you think, that if suddenly someone sneaked in here through the only door I woudln't have noticed? Are you saying that by some chance I"m blind, and deaf?" Kalia answered in her own dangerouse tone. Now she was being irritated.

"Frankly, yes," the man said, just as coldly. "And I wouldn't blame you for being as blind and deaf as you were, if someone like the man I pursue came into your room. Now, please, stand aside."
His irritation level was also rising, as could clearly be scene on his narrowing eyes. He wasn't playing games, and he looked like he could become hostile at any moment.

With the hand that was hidden behind the door Kalia made a small unditecteble movement, that made the guy blend in with the wall. Yet, her glare and anger seemed to rise, and her authority show. "My dear. If I said that I saw no one, but your stupid face, that means I saw no one. And Dare you call me blind, or deaf again, and you shull suffer the conciquences." Her voice was dangerously low, showing that if he tryed anything she can get him killed with in a moment, or do something worse.
