Guy was shocked to see how easily Runa could return to playing the roll of a noble woman. "Right..." he mumbled as he helped the driver up and climbed into the coach."

She didn't care. Infact, she couldn't care less. For her, survival ment using any method she could, no matter what others thought of it. No one ever judges the winners. She learned that lesson over and over far too many times, for it engraved in her mind like a deep scar. It as the same always. Reason why she hated being by someone, or rather coming in contact or working with someone.
By the time that Guy was in the coach, Runa was already sitting still in her place, her eyes half closed, as if nothing happened. Nothing save the blood splashed on her clothing told of what she did to those three men. Though, she seemed to be sleeping, Guys words seemed to be echoing in her head. She knew him, knew more about thim, that he knew himseslf....and yet...yet, even she couldn't predict that he would be capable of openly telling her that he as afraid. No one before dared to tell her that.
"What are you afraid of more?" She asked diatachly, opening one eye as she looked at him.

"I'm scared of your ability to act as if nothing happened, but I'm horrified and repulsed more by the fact that you enjoy torturing people," Guy shook his head. "I just don't understand how you find enjoyment in it. I mean, you must have had a really bad experience when you were young to love violence, although, I would think that that would make you hate violence, unless it's your way of getting revenge..."

Runa smirked, opening her other eye, as she looked at him, streight on. Not something she did often...after all, not all rumors are false....
"You're a pretty good observer...and your sence of analysis is pretty good too....'You've egot gutts kid, I like that...'Runa pointed out with a hint of amusement, that rather quickly faded. 'How ever. I will not go into my details of my past, but I will say this. Death, violence, agression, tourchure, became my only companions in this life. For they are the only things in this life that one can trust, they are the only thigns that do not change, nor disappoint, nor betray....."

"I don't think that they're the only things that won't betray you. Love in it's truest form won't, neither will absolute truth or morals," Guy said. "I'm not a pacifist, but there is a point where I cannot handle violence, and that is when it reaches the point of cruelty, and not quick and as painless as possible."

Runa seemed all too amused by it. Her head tilted back, as a cold smile spread on her lips, before she looked back at him.
"Tell me, what do you know of true love? Tell me, what is absolute truth? What are morals? Even the most ruthless act can be described as the most sencere in the purest of truth, and in the best of morals.... What is cruelty, before the silence? The silence that swallows all in the end? They don't care, nor does the silence. It takes in all, and swallows everything whole. What does it matter, how one died, when they die anyways. Does it change the outcome, if it were quick, or long? The result is all too similar."

"Ah, but is it justice?" Guy asked. "Love in its truest form cannot be expressed by fallen man in a fallen world. Without absolutes, our world falls apart, because there is no basis to judge that which we live by. There must be absolutes and standards for us to be able to exist, lest there be anarchy and chaos. Perfect justice cannot be experienced here either, but does that mean we shouldn't strive to reach these standards? The only way we can demonstrate the truest form of love is to die for another person. A good man will rarely die for a good person, but what about dying for a stranger, or someone known to be a horrible murderer, or a criminal of the worst kind? That is the truest kind of love. The criminal deserves death, but there is also mercy, grace, and forgiveness, all of which are more powerful than hate. Just because man is fallen and lives in a fallen world does not mean these ideals, these absolutes, do not exist. A higher being, an all knowing, loving God controls all things, and He is also Just. I have seen all of this in action in the world of my former symbiont. There, the Son of God died to save those who believe in him from eternal punishment. He became man, died and rose again, and this for people who murdered he who had done nothing wrong, and who were in open rebellion against him. He died to save them from their sins so that they could have eternal life with him in heaven. Those who believe need not fear death. He also died the most humiliating and painful form of death in that land, He died on a cross. God the Father, is holy and can't look on sin. The Son of God had all the sin of the world on his shoulders, and God the Father turned his face away. God turned his back on his won son, who is fully man and fully God, thus God turned his back on himself, in a strange way that no man can fully understand. But the story did not end in death, He rose again from the dead three days later. I have also seen how the people in that world are fallen and capable of great atrocities. But God is stronger than man's designs. All of this works together in a master plan that he knows all of, and we only see a small part of, and never fully understand. But love, can overcome it,and God will win in the end. Man will always let you down, but put your trust in something bigger than man, beyond this earth, in the supernatural, and you will never be let down, for God's love is stronger than any demon or man can ever imagine." Guy said. He had no idea if he'd said to much, and he probably sounded like an idealist, but oh well. He believed it to be true.

Runa was silent for a moment, blankly looking at him, before she burst out laughing. Yes, laughing, something that she has not done in a while. True, she laughed before, but not as genuintly and sincerely as right now. It almost made her seem....Human....
'...God?... Love? .....Justice?"She breathed out, between the fits of laughter, before she calmed down enough, in order to be able to speak. Her smile, disappearing as quickly as it came. his words amusing her, and at the same time enraging. "Justice? You speak of it, as if it were something, that the world knew. Lady Justice left this world, long ago, trust me. She isn't coming back. She saw what this world was doing, and where it was going, and there was no room for her. Justice...."She chuckled."That term is no longer valid. People lost the ability to be just long before anyone one of us was born. Justice....that world....it's used so very often, to persecute people, and to set them free...but, what does it mean? What does the Justice mean? When justice to one man, is different then the other? So tell me then, is it just, that criminals go about free, while those who try to feed their family are sentenced to death? Is it just, that while, some live on for eternity, others die? so is it just, when one executes another quickly, and one doesn't? what is the difference? The outcome is the same. Death , is the only justice in this world. It's fair to all." Runa stoped, throwing a dark look at Guy.
"Love you say. Love, is to die for a stranger? Why? They don't know you. They will never care, that you died. They'll care about their own hide, and how they will make profit. They won't care that some idiot decided to die for them. No, if you belive in that, then you are more stupid then I thought. And that God of yours. If he attempted that task, then he was in over his head. He threw away his lilfe, for nothing. The belive in itself, is with out a profit, and point. He thinks, that by dieing, he saved the world. He didn't. The sins, were not forgiven, if any more, they were damned. If sins, were forgiven, then why do people suffer? Where was your damned God, when humans die? Where is he, when there are wars? When there is suffering, loss, tourchure? If he is all powerfull, then why doesn't he save them? I'll tell you. Because there is nothing up there. No supreme being, save the one that pays you your money for the pocket and job done. People do not go anywhere, they die. Their bodies decay, and they are fogotten. Why did all powerfull 'God' churn his back on his own son, why do you speak of love? Where is that love, when your own supreme being has none? Why do you Dare, to speak of something you do not underestand.' her tone has gone down to a low hiss. Her eyes glowing wildly, with hate, and anger.
"Do not... Hear me, never, ever speak of something you don't know. There is no god. there is no justice. There is no love. There is nothing but the hate, the anger, and death. The world is a cold, hard, cursed, and dark world. No reason to set false hopes for yourselfl."

For a moment, Guy did not know what to say. In that moment, he realized that he was no longer afraid of Runa. There was no reason to be afraid. She could not harm his soul. He also realized that Waefae had lost his grasp on him. He had been saved from eternal damnation. Runa needed that hope he had. He realized that he would not be able to convince her to changer her ways, but one look in her eyes showed that her mocking and angry tone only covered her hurt and frustration at being lost. "You know, you're right. If God doesn't exist, then this world has no hope. If you are right, then there is no meaning to this life. Love is an action, being willing to die for others if necessary. You are right, this world is a messed up place. I admit, I could be wrong in my interpretation, but I don't think I am. Yo see, I've seen what happens to people who don't believe in God. I've been to a place where His wrath is on you, pain and suffering for all eternity, but he sent me back, gave me a second chance, I don't know why, but He did. I've been to hell and back. " I also see a person in front of me whose hurting. I don't know what happened to you, but when you reached the end of yourself, you had no one else to turn to, and so you turned to violence and even alcohol. The end of yourself can be a wonderful place, if you turn to God, if not, it's the most terrifying place to be. Trust me, I know from experience. After my sister died, I started down the road you've gone down. It's never to late to turn back, I've seen where this road leads. It's not pretty, and it took me twenty seconds in hell to realize that." Guy finished talking.

She was silent for a few moments, before she started laughing. Her laughter was cold, cruel, and harsh. No amusement, no hurt, just a black void. Though, her laughter, she seemed meniacle. Almost, a demon that had risen from Hell, that Guy witnessed. But, that flash was over, as suddenly as it came, just as the cold amusement vanished from her lips. Once more, she became an icy statue.
Alas, he was wrong. She no longer felt the pain, or the hurt. Gone. All emotion, all pity, all fear was gone from her. She was never lost, because she never had a way from which one could stray away from. Her life was Hell. Her life was purgatory before Hell. Just the same. Never ending eternity.
Runa's blood red eyes focused on Guy. Void of all emotion, of all the hate and wrath that she shown earlier. There was nothing. Just the dark redness, as deep and endless as the sea. It showed nothing, it betrayed nothing, it reflected nothing.
"There's one small mistake that you have made." Her voice, just like the rest of her. Blank. Disattached. "My life is Hell. I was born to it, and I will never die. I'll simply continue living it to the day that my body withers away with the cold North winds, when this world will cease to exist, and come to an end. I was never broken, for I was never whole to begin with. And yes, maybe somewhere, there is someone who is hopeful, who belives in all the nonsence about God, and good, and various other things, but that peson is a fool. Life is Purgatory. Life is Hell. There is nothing other then that. Nothing exists in this world, to promote peace, and love, and all the other things that you preach about. We are on different roads from teh begining. You do not know mine, nor do I want to know yours. What goes for you, does not for me. You have never been on that road, and pray to your foolish-belives that you will never be." She paused, for half a second debating if she should tell him exactly what happened.
"Let me tell you this. Creatures born to the Night, will never appreciate the Sunlight of the Day, no matter how sweetly you describe it to them." With that her eyes that kept looking deeper into his soul, closed, as she waited for him to respond.

"My soul has been to the other realm, and I remember that. Our souls do go on after this world. It won't always be like this. Hell is selling your soul to the devil. I did that, and I will always regret it. Hell is a place of eternal judgment. When the end comes, we will all be held accountable for our actions in this life. Those covered by the blood of Christ will be given eternal life. Those who are not, are sent to a place of eternal judgment. But I cannot convince you of this, and this must all seem like foolishness to you. So, we shall have to agree to disagree," Guy said. He wished she would believe him, but he knew that unless God worked in her, he would never make her see the hope he had.

Runa's eyes opened again, as she looked at him. The hardness of her eyes wavering only for a moment, yealding to disbelive, as she looked blankly at him.
"You don't get it do you? I am Imortal. I will never die. My soul, as you call it, will never go anywhere, I will marely cease to exist at the sunset of time." She paused, choosing her words carefuly. "You say that we will be judged, and then the misbelivers and the condemed will be dumed to Hell... Then let me ask you this. Where will you go, if you are right now in the Eternal Purgatory? The eternal judgement of all that you have done. All that you have killed, and the countless others who are yet to die? There isn't enough blood of your Christ, to wash away all the sins of this world. Especially not of those doomed to be here till the end of days." She paused again, closing her eyes once more. "I don't need another life. I need this one to end. But, death and the nothing that comes after it, is too sweet of a dream, to much of a prize."

"I understand that you physically cannot die. That does not mean that there is no final judgment. Christ is God and he is also fully man. He is alone the perfect sacrifice, and his blood covers the sins of those who believe in him and will believe in him, the past sins, the present sins, and sins not yet committed. He can do the same for you if you believe. But I cannot persuade you of this. Why are you so resistant to the idea that there may be a life beyond this one, of an all powerful, just, merciful, and loving God who is sovereign?" Guy asked.

She laughed harshly, her eyes focusing on him. No amusement, how ever, was seeping though: Just the cold darkness.
"Listen to yourself! Listen to the words, and it would seem as if you can commit any sin, and that God of yours will forgive you." Her cold laughter vanished from her voice." There are sins, that even the allmighty, as you call him, can't forgive. When you kill, when you tourchure, when you comit grave crimes, they can not be forgiven. To kill another, is a sin of it's own, which can not be forgiven. To kill an innocent, is an unforgivable crime. No one can forgive you of that, no matter to which spirits you pray to. Once born to kill will always kill, no matter how saintly they will become. The blood stains will always remain." She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before speaking once more.
"You speak of another life. But, you fail to realize, that not all wish it. A mare mortal's life is short, and they make stories to make their existance worthwile on this planet, before they are gone and forgoten. They speak of an eternal life that you will earn once you die, in hope of being able to reach for something that they do not have. Imortals on the other hand, wish for their life to cease. Their life, as it is, is far too long. We do not wish for imortality, for we have it now, we wish for death. The peacefull, black void of nothing. No longer existing, and no longer here. Gone, erased, once and for all from this treaterous place. We do not want life, we want death."

"I know this must sound like foolishness to you, and you have made that abundantly clear in your answers. But God can forgive such sins because of his great love and mercy. We all deserve eternal death for what we do, but God has granted us mercy. We are all under the curse, for me it means a physical death even though I am a Christian, but it saves me from spiritual death and eternal punishment. Originally, we were all meant to live perfect lives and never die, but we don't because we fell when the first man and woman fell. Your experience with the curse is to have eternal life and no joy. But even that is not the full extent of what we deserve for open rebellion against God. He must work in your life first before you can accept any of this. My job is to merely tell you how it is. I've seen Him change lives, and He changed mine, and He can change yours, but all according to His plan and will," Guy said. He turned his head and looked out the carriage window. He knew she wouldn't believe what he said, but he still had talked about it. It was all up to God in the end. He saw something strange on the horizon, but even for his enhanced vision as a dragon it was to far away to tell exactly what it was, but it smelled of danger. "Do you sense anything dangerous near by?" he asked Runa.
