NAME: Naryae Dominae Silverleaf
RACE: Half-elf
AGE: 16
FAVORITE/BEST POWER:
-Herself. No, seriously. Her greatest power is the fact that she is willing to do *anything* if it benefits her.
-Her elfin lineage- there's a bit of magic in her, somewhere. The trick
is tapping into it.
MATE/SPOUSE: once engaged
PARENTS: Demarkin Fae- Elf / Athina Dominae- Human
SIBLINGS: Ilian
LIKES:
-Weapons of any kind
-Nature, surprisingly. Trees, sunlight, all that, even though she lives mostly in cities and towns.
-Animals, mostly wolves and horses.
-Anything funny, sarcasm is a big favorite
DISLIKES:
-Squirrels, she's afraid of them. For real.
-Most men, unfortunately
-Cooking
-Thunderstorms
STRENGTHS:
-A strong, willing heart. If she trusts you, she will do almost anything for you.
-Loyal once she knows you won't betray her.
-Beauty. Its has served her well. To many men have fallen victim to the pretty little lady with a big sword.
-Swordsmanship. She's a master with weapons.
WEAKNESSES:
-A strong, willing heart. Yes, also a weakness. She will do anything, which has led her into a lot of trouble through the years.
-Suspicious of everyone, until you gain her trust
-She's actually half-blind in her left eye, an obstacle in battle
-A bad judge of character, she can't tell a lie form the truth
HOBBIES:
-Mercenary work, despite her young age
-Nature walks
-Swordplay
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful might be a good word to start with. Short, chin-length brown hair which turns outwards at the bottom, hazel eyes which are mostly gray and green, and an oval face. Her cheekbones are high, and a thin nose rests above thin lips. Her favorite smile is a crooked grin which adds a devilish look to her. Lower down she is finally shaped, and also well muscled. Of course, not all men find this beautiful, but her looks have served her well. What she wears depends on what's happening, for every day occasions, a tunic is her best friend. The most common one is an enchanted white one, edged in silver ascents. For more formal events, she wears a white dress which is sheer on the bottom, a high slit cutting right through the middle to her waist. Beneath she wears light colored pants, which makes the dress functional and pretty. And for adventures? Usually a bright red cloak, clasped on the side with a silver pin. Beneath is engraved leather armor, sleeveless, over a short sleeved shirt of any color, match with elbow high gauntlets. Two scimitars, when her cloak is off, rest on her back, or on her hip.
On her belt she also carries a small pack, which is actually enchanted so that it can carry much, much more then it should. She's even fit her scimitars inside, but only at extreme need. Mostly she keeps valuables and spare daggers inside the satchel.
PERSONALITY:
Sarcasm is one of her favorite activities, which goes well with her general attitude. She does, though, enjoy being happy, and is a sucker for a romance story. It is hard to properly describe her attitude, though, for she has been known to be a bit bi-polar, and just random in general. On the point of leadership, yes, she does prefer to do things her way, but usually once she gains a place of power, she becomes amazingly lost and confused. So, she enjoys following others, as long as her way of seeing things is accepted. Which then leads me to say she can be rather confrontational.
HISTORY:
[It's a bit different from the Forste Narya. Alright, a lot different, and I've actually come back an rewritten this. It's actually based very heavily on the first Narya history I ever wrote]
Naryae was born to the last human in a remote village on the outskirts of Forinasi. Her father was a important elf and warrior in their village, and her mother was actually a barmaid who had sought refuge in Naryae's father's house. No is really certain if the elf is Naryae's true father, but that never made a difference, and he loved her anyway. Her mother eventually died when Narya was only three, leaving the young girl in her father's capable hands. But, in this small, remote village, the temple was at the center of everything, and all the young girl were required to spend five years inside the temple. None of the girls had actually ever told what went on behind the closed doors, but everyone could guess well enough. But, no one would speak up, for they feared the god's wrath if they attacked the priests. That is, no one spoke up until it was time for Naryae to enter the temple, and her father refused. And, of course, with the worst kind of timing, that is the year the drought came. Blaming Naryae's father for their misfortune, the village banished him. Just a month after their greatest warrior had left the village, that is when the king came to conquer their lands, slaughter all of the priests and burning their temple. This fact was one of the only thing that has kept Naryae's father alive through the years, the knowledge that justice had been served through the hands of evil.
The two made their way to a city and settled down, Naryae's father teaching her how to fight. Without a son, and without the hope of ever having one, Narya took that role for her father. Much older now, he was steadily lost track of what Naryae does in her spare time, allowing her to leave home for longer amounts of time, and letting her get more of her "work" done. Only time will tell where this all leads.
