The moonlit path that lay before was speciled with litter from the day's activities. The vendors had long since packed up and went home, their time for selling postponed until the next day. All was silent in this town, except for the few taverns here and there bursting at the seems with drunkards and harlets.
She was there. In the shadows of a nearby building. In the darkness that she was so acousumed to. She watched the moon silently as it casts its misty beams upon the town. The wing sung it's song to the night softly as it moved through the trees. The trees mimking their song with the soft rustling of the leaves.
Yes. This was the night she loved. The night she longed for in the day. This was her time. Her moment in eternity. When the night sang and the trees hummed and the moon cast an eerie shadow upon the world.
She stood there, motionless, watching the night's symphony in utter silence. It had been far too long since she had stopped and listened. As she did she thought about the past events, she thought about Kaze... About his affect on her, and how she obviously affected him. She thought about the boy she had met in the forest, and the fairy, the creatures of this world.
Her mind wandered slowly through the darkness once more until it landed back on Kaze. She could still feel his presense even though he was not there. She could still remember the moment she laid eyes on him... He came up from the water like a God of Night. She closed her eyes and let the night's air fill her lungs.
What on earth had he done to her?
