Selena watched the two creatures from her seat on the branch of a tree overhead. 'What is it about men,' she thought, 'that has them constantly threatening to off each other.' She sighed slightly, then stopped herself, hopping the two figures below had not heard.

Waefae heard a slight sigh come from somewhere, however, he assumed that the strange where person had been the one to sigh. He continued to glare at the strange creature, and was oblivious to all else. However the elemental was not so easily deceived and worked on trying to get Waefae's attention to the surrounding areas. Waefae continued to glare at the impertinent Perro in hopes of breaking him into submission.

Selena waited, not daring to relax her stiff posture. Several seconds passed, but she knew better than to let her guard down.

Was that real murderous intent? It was a bit vague, but Perro could see a glimmer of truth in the threat. An amused, daring part of him wanted to see Waefae try, but a whiff of the air had him on his guard. He didn't know who that third person in the woods was, so maybe it was better to stand down?
He hated making decisions.
Perro relaxed his stance completely, thoughtfully scraping the bottom of his chin with a sharp nail. Thinking things over was not something he did everyday.
"Well, I wouldn't want to die now..." he muttered to himself.

Finally the elemental was able to alert Waefae to a third party who was unknown. He gave a final glare at Perro and began to back off; the claymore remained drawn, now in a defensive position. He began to sniff the air. Waefae began to circle a tree and looked up into the branches. A woman was sitting in one of the branches. He sheathed his sword and began to climb up the tree, ready to grab a dagger and defend himself is she should make any sudden movements. "What is up with my guards?" he muttered to himself as he continued to climb up the tree.

Selena watched the two carefully. She was about to relax when one began circling the tree she was seated in. He looked up and breifly locked eyes with her. 'Crap,' she thought. The man began to climb the tree. Selena carefully placed her right boot against the trunk tree and kicked off as the man's dagger struck the branch where her leg had been. She flipped down from the branch and landed in a crouch on the ground, sword drawn towards the second man as she quickly straightened.

Perro merely watched as Waefae climbed up the tree and made the woman jump down. In those few seconds, he was again facing someone with a sword drawn.
"So that means she's not yours?" he asked, shouting out to Waefae. He didn't bother watching the woman. "Can I kill her then? Your woods, after all."

By this point Waefae was pretty ticked off that a woman had out maneuvered him. He whispered a spell and teleported himself down behind the woman, and drew a dagger. The elemental seemed to be backing off for a few moments. Waefae's eyes began to lose their red coloring. "No, not yet. I'd like to question her before we kill her."

Selena stifled a snort. 'Them kill me, good luck,' she thought. She kept her sword pointed at the man in front of her, but carefully turned her head a few inches to see the man that had apeared behind her from the tree. He was glarring and holding a dagger. 'Great, I guess I really am going to have to fight them. Can't a girl catch a break in this place.'

Perro shrugged his shoulders and began inspecting his claws. He'd let Waefae do whatever he wanted, and interrogations bored him. As for the sword pointed at him...
He'd never been stressed or scared in battle. He was always thought of as an idiot because of htis, but Perro knew more about battle than anyone would think. In other words, the woman and her sword hardly threatened him, not as much as Waefae with his magic and killing intent.

Waefae put his dagger against the back of her neck. "How did you get in my woods?" he asked harshly. Strange, the elemental was no longer in control and he was still acting harshly. Maybe it was because this woman reminded him of his sister, and he didn't want to think about her.

A sharp point dug into the back of her neck, but Selena didn't flinch. She weighed her options. The man in front of her was obviously uninterested, but the man behind her was not. She had seen the two bickering, and they seemed rather keen on killing each other. If the man behind her killed her, she was in a position that would cause her sword to slip and slit the throat of the man in front of her. Said man didn't seem particularly concerned about this fact, but Selena tried not to let that worry her; taking chances was her life now. However, Selena knew that the man currently threatening her life had noticed the situation, and for that reason he would not move. He wanted both kills, and he didn't strike Selena as someone who would sacrafice one kill for another if there was a second option. People were sensative about their kills, and she had the scars to prove it. Keeping her sword in place, she spoke carefully. "That depends, " she said carefully, "who wants to know?"

"That depends, " he heard the girl answer. "who wants to know?"
Perro ignored the other two for a moment, thinking Waefae was going to give another all-too-proud introduction. And then he noticed that the woman's sword was still pointed at him.
Is she stupid? he thought immediately, eyeing her. Waefae had a weapon drawn behind her, and although Perro himself was without any weapons, he'd already stated he was willing to kill her. A grin broke out on the werebeast's face.
"You've got guts!" he laughed. Whoever she was, she was either insane or gutsy to not lower her sword. Maybe she was a werebeast like him.

Waefae almost snorted. Could the woman really be that ignorant of just who was questioning her, he thought with no small amount of disbelief. He pressed the dagger a into her skin a little harder, being careful not to break the skin. For some reason, he no longer really wanted to kill her, he just wanted answers. Here I go with that guilt trip thing again... this better not be because she looks like my sister. This time he did press harder than either of the other times, but he refused to look and see if he had drawn blood, knowing that he would never forgive himself if he had.... but not quite sure why he wouldn't forgive himself. Fine time to get a conscious, he thought to himself. "I want to know," he said rather harshly. "I being Waefae..." He then stopped and mumbled about the stupidity of this entire situation.

Selena felt the mood change. The strange person at the end of her sword was laughing and the man behind her was not breaking skin. Maybe she wouldn't have to fight either of them. Just in case, she held her stiff position as she spoke. "Names mean little to me," she said. She didn't know a Waefae, and she didn't really care to get to know this one. However, he was being careful not harm her, and, against her better judgement, she wanted to know why.
