I glanced down at her, pausing for a moment. I held back for a moment, watching her with cold, unfeeling eyes. I sensed Hogosha's eyes on me. I glanced over him, his judgmental staring cutting deeper than Leazra ill-said words.
Should I carry you?
I leaned down next her, gripping her should like a worried friendly. I wasn't quiet sure if it was an act, but I simply let it happen.
Soon enough I felt Hogosha's warm breath on my arm, his body resting against mine. For I moment I wished I could just send him away like I used to, but no, he was here to stay whether I liked it or not.

Leazra struggled to her feet, leaning against the wall for support. "No... I'm fine..." she said quietly.
The grit in her voice made it seem like she felt very much alone, even though she was in the company of two others. Stumbling across the wall, remaining in the shadows, she trudged into the stables, quite ready to leave this place.

I stood and watched her, shadows hiding much of my features. I liked to imagine I was an imposing figure, a stalker in the shadows. My eyes caught the light, burning brighter then they should have in such darkness. I was standing out in the open. In the concealing dark, yes, but still very exposed. Why?
What are we going to do?
I muttered, looking at the stables which Leazra had just entered. I'd been thinking a lot of that question, yeah, but until now it hadn't actually been brought to the front of my mind.
Hogosha, who stood like a dark sentry at the stable entrance, growled, trying to tell me to keep moving.
I slipped forward again and into the barn, Hogosha following as I slid the door closed. The question came back to haunt me again. How far could Leazra make it before she could no longer travel? I wasn't sure. Did we keep moving to the next town, or do we stay and search for a doctor or healer?
