Give a fake name.
Too late. She had already heard that, most likely. Crap. "...Kasanda," I said hesitantly. Of all people not to trust, I had a feeling the girl with red eyes and daggers wasn't one of them. I could take her, though, if it came down to it.
Cat pushed himself away, landing on the ground on all fours before sauntering over to introduce himself. I rubbed the back of my neck, looking to the side as if I didn't know the embarassing large cat I had just previously been holding. "That's, um... this is Cat."
Runa looked questingly at Kasandra. "I'm sure it's a cat and not a dog..." She looked down studying it, and then looking back up. "Don't worry, I don't kill unless I have a reason...or an Costumer." Though trusting...depends how much you wish to trust me...But taking me down...You wish.
"Cat, huh?" Runa smiled and leaned down allowing the cat to sniff her fingures before she could pet him. "Don't be surprised...Let's put it this way...if you had my life, you'd be an assasin too...but since you already are one, Greetings." Runa was getting into a good mood.

Cat rolled his head back on his shoulders, watching the woman's hand. I knew it wasn't for protection or anything, though; he was just trying to look cute. And it was working. He leaned into Runa's strokes, purring loudly and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, well, my life hasn't exactly been all sugar drops and pink roses either," I mumbled, crossing my arms and looking to the side.
Runa gigled like a young girl and scratched him behind his ears. Just where cat's like to be scratched. "He's soooo cute!" She smiled and with out breaking her movments or smile, she asked. "I don't think anyone's was...Do you?"

I smiled my agreement. "No. I guess not. But there are lives that are harder than others," I grumbled, still leering at Cat. He seemed to be staring back, as if to praise himself in the extra attention he was getting and, at the same time, accusing me of being a horrible owner.
"Idiot," I snapped at him under my breath. Cat merely twitched his ears in reply, making adorable noises at Runa that would be hard to resist.

As if to prove her point, Cat walked away from Runa, only to strut back again and roll on his back, playfully batting at her hands. Yeah, he was cute. But he was also the biggest show off I'd ever met.

"Hm," was all I said in return, staring up at the sky. The stars stared back at me, seeming to bore down into my eyes and try to see into my soul, see what I really felt. I blinked and quickly looked away, steering my gaze back to Runa and Cat.
"So... do you run around at night for excercise a lot or what?" I asked, the ghost of a playful smile forming on my lips.
Runa cought on quickly and made an exadurated face of a thinker. "Well...I guess, but I prefer to run in the Sun rise...That way I won't trip over anything...unless the sun will shine from South-West...Wonder if it's possible..."

((ooc: fast post. sorry for it's... shortness or whatever))
I nodded my brief agreement. For some reason, though, one I couldn't pick up, my guard was still up. And it was rock solid. I knew that the conversation couldn't go much farther, just because we were such strangers and refused to trust one another.
So I asked. "Suedo or Soldier?"
It was stupid. Any other Suedo would have probably beat me into a pulp for being so obvious. But I wanted to know if this was someone I should be fighting or not. My muscles tensed as I awaited an answer.
