'Shakespeare?' Krake briefly wondered who he/she was but was more intruiged by the next saying. "Matchmaking eh? Do tell." in his mind he gleefully rubbed his hands together. Nothing like a little dirt on someone you know.

Sven looked at Krake and said, "I assure you it wasn't as bad as Guido seems to think it was." Guy glared at him. "But you weren't the one who got hit with a cast iron frying pan! He failed to tell the lass that I was a dragon. She had made it quite clear that she hated dragons. She found out I was a dragon, and well suffice to say, her aim was quite good, and I had a headache for a month after that frying pan hit me..." Sven just laughed. "You were so depressed, I thought she could get your head out of the clouds and back on your shoulders." "Find someone who likes dragons, can handle my emotional baggage, being hunted down by Waefea, doesn't work for Waefae, and doesn't mind living on the road, and I might be interested! As for my head being in the clouds, you know me. I'm a philosopher, I live in the clouds..."

Krake gaped at the man. He basically lived in the lap of luxury! Not only was he not tied down to one place, but he also got to fight off Waefea's army!
He took another thought at that, and blanched. He maybe never had family, but at least he had a place to call home. And he wasn't being hunted down for any other reason than being a dragon. This man had much more stress than Krake could ever imagine, and he suddenly felt somewhat small and ihsignificant compared to this Guido Fawkes.

Guy just shook his head as Sven continued to laugh. "I was being quite serious about the last part on what it would take to be able to handle being married to me..." Sven laughed and said, "It can't be as bad as you make it sound." "Easy for you to say," Guido retorted. "You didn't sell your soul to Waefae in a deal to get your sister back, and then somehow have a person break his hold over you. He wants me dead, and he will stop at nothing to kill me. That's why I'm better off single." Guido was no longer in a cheerful mood. He shook his head and looked over at Krake. "How about a road trip Krake? I am a hunted man, so it could be dangerous." he asked, hoping he could get away from the city. Sven stopped laughing and looked at Guido. "I'm sorry, I had no idea..." "No, you don't have any idea what I've been through these last sixteen or so years. I would appreciate it if you asked no more questions so that if Waefae should come along, you can honestly say that you know nothing of my whereabouts."

Krake uncomfortably shifted while Sven and Guy had their spat. He could place the tones they spoke with into the 'malicious' catergory, and his subconcious instints told him to inch away.
Road trip!? As in get out of the city!? Heck yeah! "Sure! I mean, I don't have anything better to do." Krake could barely contain the glee he felt, and he didn't even notice his botched job at covering it up. His feet slowly shuffled towards the door before he asked, "Well?" He hadn't been out of the city in ages, and with luck, he could transform into his true form. The thought made lightheaded with happiness. How long had it been? 2 years? 3? In any case, he was more than gratwful for a chance to stretch his wings.

Guy gave a curt bow to Sven and walked out of the hat shop. He'd thought that it would be nice to see old friends, but hadn't realized how few of them really knew what had been happening of late. He tried to get control of his stormy emotions but to no avail. Sven called after him, "Will you be alright?" Guido looked back and said, "Don't worry about me..." and kept walking. He was soon out of the city and transformed into his black and red dragon form. He was about ten feet tall, maybe taller on all four legs, was nine feet long, and had a wing span of around eighteen or twenty feet. Krake would come if he wanted to.

Krake eagerly followed Guy out of the city, and wondered how long it would take to get to a clearing that would hold his size.
In about 15 minutes, thay reached a small field of swaying grass, and he could smell the mice and rats which scurried in complete camoflage. Hearing a strange noise, he turned and was greeted with the sight of GUy in a red and black fire dragon.
He felt slightly awed at how he looked up at the dragon, watching the slender neck sway to and fro. He gave a small glance to the town before carefully taking off the ratty black sweatshirt he had been wearing, wanting to keep it one peice. His chiseled abs shone with the sun, and in a moment, Krake transformed.
He dwarfed Guido and he felt a smirk fall over his face. His head reache the treetops of the forest, and his shoulder reqached at about 75 feet. His long neck (When fully stretched) aded another 50 feet, and his long powerful tail swept out behind him like a snake.
His wings were huge, and without even stretching him to full size, he covered Guy in a dark shadow. He knew that Guy was smarter, probably better at fighting, and wiser than him, So he decided to stop teasing him. All four legs splayed on the ground, and his talon's dug into the soft earth.
"Where to now?" Krake growled out. Hig wings were begging to be stretched and to fly, seeing as he hadn't been able to leave the city or fly for a long time. He whined softly in anticapation, boucing softly on his feet.

Guy was deemed large by most dragons, but Krake was enormous! And yet size did not really mean all that much in a battle, in fact it was often not an advantage in battle. Guido took off and said, "Back to the place I once called home." He hoped that he could handle it, but Krake should know what happened. Sven, while a friend, was such a chatter box, and who knew what would happen if he told the wrong person that Guido was back in town. "It's two days flight from here. It will get very could as we used to live in a glen high in the mountains. I will not be stopping for sleep." It sounded crazy, but Guy just needed to get home. He didn't know why, but whenever he really just needed to get away, he always went back to the burned ghost of a mansion that was left to be among the ghosts of his past.

Krake nodded in agreement, ready for anything. The cold simply reminded him of his snowy cave, and he would have no problem. The nonstop flying would be no problem, he could tough it out!
He raised his wings and gave a half-hearted beat. The wind curled around him and blew the grasses down to the ground. He was desparete to fly now, true he was able to fly in his human form with his wings, but flying in the air in his true form was like a bottle of fine sake. You do it once and your hooked for life.
"So when do we leave? You lead the way." he growled. He was anxious and he was sure Guy could sense it.

Guy started heading north, high up into the mountains as he said, "Now." He flew for hours without saying anything, enjoying the quiet, the rush of the cool crisp autumn air. The mountains were beautiful this time of year, all the trees' leaves looking like the forest was on fire with the brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges. He found himself humming songs that he couldn't remember where he'd heard them, but they calmed him. He soon shifted into his Tundra Dragon form, the fur keeping him warm as they went farther into the mountains. Night began to fall, the sun setting the entire sky on fire as the heavy clouds that foretold winter rushed to hide the stars and silvery moon.

As Guy took off, so did Krake. At first, the excitement caused him to fly fairly fast, speeding up ahead of Guy, before doubling back and gliding below him.
His large wings cast a shadow on the grounds below, and Krake sighed. They had been flying for hours and the boredom had set in. He was mildly surprized when Guy turned into an artic looking dragon, he hadn't noticed how cold it was.
The day was ending and the sunset lit up the dark clouds which foretold winter was coming. He gave a silent wish for snow, before realizing that up in the mountains it would turn into flurries of hail.
He let out a great sigh, shaking his tail and looking over at Guy. Two days of this? If it kept on like this, he would surely die of boredom before long.

Guy could feel the boredom that Krake was feeling. This young dragon had yet to learn the joys of quiet and solitude, of contemplation and peace, rest from activity. Guy needed the quiet to prepare his mind and heart for where he was going. He also knew that danger was never far away, so the quiet might not last long. A light dusting of snow flurries fell around them, landing on his dark blue, light blue, and silver fur and wings. The feathers on his wings and his fur kept him warm at the higher altitudes, so the light snow did not bother him. He shook his head as he found himself going back to the years gone by, back to his carefree days, and days that while there was fear there was also joy and fun. They seemed quite distant now, even though he was only thirty-six, those days were far gone from him, and would never be regained. He knew his family's death was not his fault, and yet he felt guilty that he had survived, that he had left them in their time of need. He had tried to protect them, but he hadn't been able to, these thoughts and others plagued his mind as he flew ever closer to his home. Night crept over the land, and the full moon was shrouded in mist and clouds. Wolves howled below him, somewhere deep within the woods, howling to the moon. It was the Hunter's Moon.

Krake gave a sigh as he closed his mouth on a flurry of snow. Insiide his mouth it instantly melted and tricled down his neck as the life-giving water. The snow furled around him and Guy still flew steadily onwards. The moon was covered by the snow-clouds, though ever once in a while it would shine its silvery light down upon them and lit the snow up like a sparkling diamond.
The flurries became slightly harder, and he shook his head as a choice flake was sucked down his throat when he took a breath. Giving a sigh, he looked ahead and saw a solid black cloud which covered the oncoming sky. Another wind tore through the air and he felt the snow pass over and under his beating wings.
Krake briefly wonder about Guy, his scaly black tail twitching in thought. How many times had he flown for days on end while being chased by Waefea? The muscles in his back were getting hot, feeling overused. Hu mentally cursed as he thought how weak he had gotten. He strained on and ignored the pain until it went away. He looked down at the ground and saw a trade caravan stopped at the side of the road, a smoke stack rising up.
Moving on, the moon dissapeared unde rhe forboding black clouds, and he gave a sigh, watching the world fall dark again.

Guido saw the dark clouds, felt the snow rushing towards them, cold air beginning to make him shiver. He just kept flying. the fire deep within him helped to further insulate him against the cold. The dark clouds and stormy weather fit his mood perfectly. He was confused, and in the middle of spiritual warfare. He knew that their deaths had not been his fault, that he was saved and forgiven, and yet, he still felt responsible. He was usually able to look back on the happy memories, and yet the ever present pain of loosing all that you love was there. He began to pray as he flew, letting God take control, peace filled his soul, and he began to hum the song amazing grace. Soon he was singing it, a deep, rich, throaty baritone that could sing as high as the tenors. "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound...." He was soon lost in the music, oblivious to the snow, just flying and singing.

A few hours had passed since they had last seen the silvery moon, when Krake heard singing. Guy was singing. The male had an amazing voice, and Krake felt the happiness bubble inside his chest. The silence was finally broken, and as much as he enjoyed listenig to the snow fall, this definitely won. He never heard the song before, but it was nice. Too bad, he would have like to sing along.
His eye's snapped open. Wait, When did he close them? He shook his head, noticing he had fallen a few feet in altitude. One beat of his wings fixed that and he shook his head. He couldn't fall asleep, not now. If he fell, then not only would It hurt him, but Guy was not strong enough to wake him up, short of a fireball that is. The melody playin his head, and his eyelids drooped.
NO! He raised his head and used a clawed hand to scratch his belly lightly. The stinging made him snap to reality again, casting thought of sleep from his mind.
