So, I'm back from Acapulco, Mexico. I had a lot of fun. Top Highlights of the Trip: 5) Climbing a rickety staircase made of poorly made wooden ladders, and overcoming part of my fear of heights and staircases. 4) Playing with the children. 3) Going to the beach. 2) Learning how to Salsa Dance. 1) Salsa Dancing with Jorque and discovering the fact that I have two left feet when it comes to dancing. We all had a lot of fun. The trip was a success. I had to be escorted up the staircase mentioned in number five by a Mexican boy going up and down. It was really scary. The children had fun, and the trip was a success.

-hugs- Welcome back Mira! I'm glad it went well for you! What kind of stuff did you do? Did you build things, or was it mostly skits and such?

Well I did construction work. It was back breaking labor. The most advanced tool we had were shovels. I painted on the third story floor. I sifted sand, lugged large buckets of sand around, and filmed them up. We played with the kids. On Thursday, I met six street children and spent three hours with them. That was a really neat experience. If you didn't know they were street children, you would not have thought they were street children. Most of them do drugs and prostitution. The youngest are six or seven years old. Many are Christians and love God.
