"Ohhh.."Kalia breathed with relief. She looked at Ailiana, and smiled her mischivious smile. "Your laughing problem can be fixed...it ain't that hard..."Kalia did a cartweel forward but her hand sliped and she landed on her behind. "That wasn't part of the treatment." She said getting up and rubbing her behind, which was now a bit wet. "I hate swamps..."

I snorted in amusement, continuing to walk. Truth be told, I had never disliked anything more than Tarium at the moment. I couldn't imagine any sort of sane person living here, and felt a small amount of pity for the ones cast out of society and forced to live in this place.
"What's the treatment, then?" I asked Kalia, slowing my stride slightly so I wouldn't get too far ahead of her.

"What treatment? Oh! No, I'm not telling you. Ailiana eventualy you'll find out!" Kalia raised her head up and kept walking. She was smiling and a mischivious glow showed up in her eyes.

I reached up to pull another leaf off of a passing tree, but paused once I heard Kalia. Wait, what? I smirked at her, narrowed my eyes, then dragged a handful of green off a branch.
Without another thought, I threw the leaves at Kalia. It was feeble payback, but it made my smirk devolop into a grin, which must have been worth something.

Kalia stoped dead surprised by the attack, you could clearly see confusion on her face. "Huh?"She blinked. "Oh, no you didn't!" She smiled and reached down getting a hand full of grass and a few leaves and threw at the girl. Kalia laughed and ran forward away from Ailiana.

It took a few moments for me to fully register what had just happened. And when I did, I smirked at Kalia, letting it read through my eyes for a moment that she was going to pay.
Reaching down next to a tree's gnarled roots, I clawed up a glob of still wet mud from the ground; the air hadn't dried it out yet. I craned my arm back and threw it in Kalia's direction, bursting into laughter as I did so. I covered my mouth to try and restrain the noise, only succeeding in getting the mud around my lips as well.

Kalia squicked and dodged it, how ever the ball of mud did hit her shoulder it didn't do that much damage. "Oh you little!!!!!!" She yelled and grabed some moss as well as dirt and flung it at Ailiana. "YOU WILL NEVER GET AWAY FROM THAT!"

Snorting back more laughter, I yelped and tried to run away, but the scummy moss hit me full on in the face. I wiped it away, looking at my surroundings to try and find the perfect item to throw. Rock? No, too dangerous. Branches? Too flimsy.
Then I acted on a whim, bolting forward in an attempt to tackle Kalia.

Kalia smiled adn squicked she tryed to run away, but unfortunatly sliped and fell face first into the mud and moss. Luckly her hands stoped her from fully hitting the ground.

I paused, swallowing my laughter quickly. I had heard something. And not just a small, leaf moving, tree rustling something. A talking something. Which meant someone else was around us.
I quickly stood, thinking that I had once again touched a tainted piece of moss, or another demon leaf, perhaps. Examining the area, though, I saw neither of these things. Kalia was the expert on the swamp though, so I turned to her, hoping she would tell me something along the lines of, "oh, the swamp often talks to people," or, "the squirrels in the swamp have inherited the odd ability to talk."
Both of these seemed enormously far-fetched, though.

Kalia got up with an anoyed expression. "Stupid Mud." She cursed under her breath before churing to Ailiana. "No, your not crazy. It's just that the area is very mistical I should say...But, what exactly do you hear?" She asked curiuosly, while trying to clean herself up.

"I heard voices," I murmured, my lips barely moving. "Someone was... was talking." I began to add up the logic in my mind. If someone was talking, they were either talking to themselves, or to another.
If they were talking to a companion, we had a problem. Though Kalia and I were two, I was hardly helpful, probably a nuisance, and the odds wouldn't be good. If they were talking to the themselves...
We were dealing with a mad person, which was hardly any more appealing than the previous option.

Kalia smiled. "No worries. Sometimes the swamp makes us hear or see things. Sometimes it carries the voices of the spirits along with it. It's also possible that you've heard some of the natives that hide around here." She shrugged. Unless Kalia knew exactly what it was she couldn't be sure.
